Prompt
An autonomous 3D Skyrim-clone saga in a single file. Heightmap terrain across 7 zones (village, dark forest with bandit camp, snowy pass with rope bridge, ruined keep, river town with rotating mill wheel and rowboats, standing stones shrine, dragon summit). Low-poly humanoid hero with swappable weapons (sword/bow/staff/axe), cape, walk/swing animation. 6-hero rotating roster. AI state machine — idle/travel/combat/talk/kneel/loot/rest. 10-quest pipeline with XP, skills, gold, floating damage numbers. Day/night cycle. Climactic multi-phase dragon battle. Chronicle scroll at the end. Auto-restart with the next hero forever.

What I learned shipping it
- Vertex-colored heightmaps + a few PointLights buy you 'open-world Skyrim' feel for almost no GPU cost — no PBR, no textures, no normal maps.
- Day/night isn't lighting alone — it's villagers retreating indoors, window glow turning on, torches igniting, sky color lerping. The behavior sells the time of day.
- A 6-hero rotating roster turns one engine into 6 different watching experiences — the streamer never sees the same hero twice in a row.
