RAPP paper · part 3
Thought Contracts
How a living hologram reacts to its surroundings in real time
A thought contract is how a living hologram thinks and reacts to its surroundings as they change, during the conversation. Files arrive or leave, a reader returns what was written, and the next turn is already different.
A living hologram's abilities are plain agent files it reads fresh on every turn. A writer's description
teaches the caller, its schema shapes the thought, its perform() adds structure, and a separate
reader returns it to the next turn; the two never call each other. Presence is ability: in one observation,
taking the memory pair out of the open RAPP Brainstem made the same running process forget how to remember,
while everything it had saved stayed where it was. It works like the way we think.
One page, with six small animations for readers who would rather watch: a hologram reshaping as files come and go, the caller reading labels, MCP and RAPP side by side, writer and reader sharing one store, presence as ability, and the thought as one lap. It ends with an honest account of what runs today and what does not.
Steerable, verifiable data objects: lenses, tiles and replay.
How an AI estate's history became verifiable state on signed, content-addressed frame chains.
