1. Install RAPP Brainstem

2. Add it to Claude Desktop

Download the Brainstem extension

Double-click the downloaded file. Claude Desktop opens it; click Install.

Two steps, then just ask.

Install RAPP Brainstem, then add the extension that connects Claude to it.

  1. Install BrainstemPaste the line above into Terminal.
  2. Add the extensionDownload it, double-click, click Install. No settings to edit.
  3. Ask ClaudeTry “Ask my Brainstem what it can do.”

2. Install the extension

Download the .mcpb bundle and open it (open file.mcpb on macOS). Claude Desktop shows an install dialog; the user clicks Install.

3. Confirm

In Claude Desktop, Settings → Extensions shows it enabled. Ask Claude: “Ask my Brainstem what it can do.”
