YOUR NUMBERS, YOUR FILES

Take it off the screen.

Two separate STL solids, a dimensioned SVG, BOM, parameters,
assembly plan, and an unperformed inspection sheet.

STL is unitless. Import explicitly as millimetres. Review only, never a machine-ready claim.

Compact: about 32% less nominal solid material than Stackline.

Pocket Arcade: an assumed 88 × 63 mm card footprint and 20 mm tokens. No actual game-piece fit test.

How the numbers are modeled

All dimensions use mm. Tray volume = outer width × depth × floor + wall-ring area × (height − floor). Insert volume = two full-width rails + the crossbars between them. Shared-volume overlap is removed before STL triangulation.

Mass (g) = solid volume (mm³) ÷ 1,000 × assumed density (1.24 g/cm³). Gross feedstock = mass ÷ 0.92. This is a solid geometry model, not a slicer/infill/support estimate. STL volumes are checked against those formulas.

Modeled bench effort = 300 fixed seconds + 20 seconds per bay + 45 seconds for a card/token review. It includes assembly, handling, and inspection, excludes fabrication/postprocessing, and is not time-study evidence.

Synthetic unit USD = gross feedstock kg × $24 + bench hours × $22 + $0.35 packaging + $1.10 overhead. Twenty-kit totals are rounded after aggregation; $7.61 × 20 is not the unrounded baseline batch result of $152.13. Density/price/yield sensitivity is in every review JSON.

04 Honest about the evidence

Geometry is checked. The physical world is not.

Checked digitally

  • Finite dimensions, positive walls, bays and recess
  • Shared-vertex, closed, oriented STL topology
  • Independent volume, units and bounds checks
  • BOM quantities and deterministic regeneration
  • Seed gauge replay: 3 pass / 2 hold, synthetic only
Open reproducible evidence ↗

Still needs a physical pilot

  • Material/process suitability and dimensional capability
  • Actual four-side fit, squareness and surface quality
  • Insertion, removal, retrieval and desk stability
  • Handling time, strength and transit protection
  • Separate prototype, spend and shipment approval

The 196 mm request: hold

The seed’s wider proposal needs 200 mm including two 2 mm pads. Its synthetic packing interior is only 192 mm.

No silent approval. Reopen geometry, fit limits, material, cost, and packaging review.

TWO PARTS. NO HARDWARE.

A reversible idea.
Not a fabrication order.

After separately approved prototype, material and process reviews, a future pilot would follow this sequence.

  1. 01

    Identify & measure

Match pair and revision IDs. Record dimensions and edges. Never mix variants or invent readings.

  2. 02

    Place & lift

Rails front/back, insert onto the floor. No fasteners, adhesive or forcing. Check all four gaps.

  3. 03

    Inspect & hold

Review seating, retrieval and stability. Segregate binding or mismatched pairs for design review.
