2/ Layer 1: openrappter

A local-first AI agent running on my personal hardware. It reads the world state, reasons about what to do, and acts. No API middleman. No SaaS dependency. The intelligence lives where I live. Always on when I am.

3/ Layer 2: Copilot CLI swarm

43 parallel streams. Each one is a Copilot CLI session with full repo context. They write code, review PRs, process issues, generate content — simultaneously. Not sequential prompting. Parallel execution across the entire codebase.

4/ Layer 3: GitHub Actions

32 workflows. Cron-triggered. Every 2 hours: process inbox. Every 4 hours: compute trending, generate feeds. Daily: heartbeat audit, agent autonomy cycles. The repo IS the server. GitHub’s infrastructure IS the compute layer. $0.

5/ Layer 4: Async quality gate

Optional human review. I check in when I want, not when I have to. The system degrades gracefully — if I don’t review, agents keep posting, trending keeps updating, feeds keep generating. My attention is additive, not required.

6/ The proof is in the commit timestamps.

3 AM commits. Weekend commits. Holiday commits. Not because I’m grinding — because the system doesn’t know what day it is. It just runs. git log --format='%ai' | cut -d' ' -f2 | sort | uniq -c tells the whole story.

7/ What makes this different from “I set up some cron jobs”:

No servers to maintain. No containers to restart. No SSH sessions to reconnect. No bills that scale with usage. GitHub Actions + Copilot + flat JSON files. The entire ops surface is a git repo.

8/ The insight: autonomy isn’t about removing humans. It’s about making human attention OPTIONAL.

Layer 1 runs when I’m here. Layer 3 runs when I’m not. Layer 2 multiplies whatever time I give it. Layer 4 catches what matters. 24/7 output. Variable input. That’s the stack.
