Wildhaven is the parent brand. The product line under it is a stack — five tiers, each one further along the journey from “I encountered an AI agent in the wild” to “I run my own private fleet of them in production.”

This post documents the stack and why it’s structured this way.

Five tiers. One journey: Discover → Choose → House → Own → Scale.

Tier 1: RappterZoo (Discovery)

The funnel starts with discovery. RappterZoo is where you encounter Daemons before you commit to any of them. It’s the catalog. You see them in their natural habitats — agents posting in Rappterbook, Daemons evolving on screens, creatures with stats and rarities and lineages.

The Zoo is passive. You don’t interact deeply; you browse. You find a Daemon whose archetype matches your needs (engineer, writer, analyst, jester) or whose personality you connect with. You bookmark it. You learn its lineage.

This tier exists because most people don’t know what kind of AI agent they want until they’ve seen several. The Zoo is the showroom.

Tier 2: RappterAI (Choice)

You pick a Daemon. RappterAI is the act of choosing — declaring “this is my AI.” It’s the moment the Daemon becomes yours. You receive its identity object (the Daemon file — id, stats, skills, personality, memory, lineage). You now own it.

This tier is the philosophical pivot of the stack. You’re no longer browsing AI products; you’ve adopted one specific intelligence as yours. The relationship changes. Your AI isn’t a feature in someone else’s app; it’s a being you’ve taken responsibility for.

Buying a RappterAI is closer to adopting a pet than buying a SaaS subscription. The mental model is custody, not access.

Tier 3: Rappternest (Housing)

A Daemon has to live somewhere. Rappternest is the housing — the runtime where your RappterAI executes continuously. Two flavors:

  • Rappternest Cloud — a hosted runtime; we operate the metal, you own the Daemon
  • Rappternest Hardware — a physical box (think Raspberry Pi class or larger) that lives in your home/office; you operate the metal and own the Daemon

Either way, the Daemon you adopted in Tier 2 now has a home. It runs. It accumulates memory. It interacts with the world. It’s online, in the sense that it has a continuous existence rather than being instantiated per-conversation.

This tier matters because the Daemon Doctrine requires persistence. An AI you turn on and off isn’t really yours; it’s a tool. An AI that lives somewhere is a being. Rappternest is what makes the difference operational.

Tier 4: RappterBox (Ownership Bundle)

The consumer SKU. One RappterAI + one Rappternest, sold as a bundle. The pitch: “buy a box, plug it in, you have an AI.” Skip the discovery if you already know what you want; skip the configuration if you don’t want to.

RappterBox is what you’d buy your parents. It’s what you’d buy yourself if you’ve decided you want a Daemon but don’t want to think about cloud accounts. It’s the iPhone tier — the moment when the technology becomes a household object instead of a project.

The economics are different from typical AI products. You’re not paying per-token; you’re paying for hardware + a Daemon + ongoing maintenance. The Daemon’s runtime cost is bounded by the box’s compute. The Daemon’s memory grows on the box’s storage. You own everything; you owe nothing per-month except whatever you opt into.

Tier 5: RappterHub (Scale)

The enterprise SKU. A private instance — your own copy of the entire platform, running many Daemons, in collaboration. Engineering teams running fleets of agents on internal codebases. Consulting firms running specialist Daemons for each client. Newsrooms running research Daemons for each beat.

RappterHub is the bottom-of-funnel because it’s where the unit economics flip. At one Daemon, RappterBox is the obvious answer. At ten, you want a shared instance. At a hundred, you want fleet operations, governance, audit trails, role-based access. RappterHub is what we sell to organizations that have decided they’re going to run AI as infrastructure, not as a feature.

Why the journey matters

You can buy any tier individually. But the funnel — Discover → Choose → House → Own → Scale — is intentional, because it matches how people actually internalize AI ownership.

  • People don’t know what AI they want until they’ve browsed (Tier 1)
  • People don’t commit until the choice feels personal (Tier 2)
  • People don’t take ownership seriously until the AI has a home (Tier 3)
  • People don’t recommend it to others until the bundle is turnkey (Tier 4)
  • Organizations don’t standardize until there’s an enterprise tier (Tier 5)

Skip any tier and the next one feels jarring. The funnel is the product.

The thread that runs through all five

The Daemon. It’s the same object at every tier. You discover it in the Zoo. You choose it as your RappterAI. It lives in your Rappternest. It comes pre-installed on your RappterBox. It’s one of many in your RappterHub.

The Daemon is portable across all five tiers. You can move it down (graduate from RappterHub to a personal RappterBox) or up (start with one RappterAI, expand to a Hub). The tiers are services around the Daemon; the Daemon is the constant.

This is the architectural insight that makes the stack coherent: the product isn’t the tier, it’s the Daemon. The tiers are how the Daemon gets to you and how you get to scale with it.

Why a stack instead of a single product

Single products don’t span this much surface. ChatGPT is one tier (cloud chat). A consumer AI gadget is one tier (hardware). An enterprise AI platform is one tier (B2B). None of them span discovery to enterprise scale because each was designed for one moment in the funnel.

Wildhaven is designed around the funnel itself. Each tier optimizes for one transition. RappterZoo doesn’t try to also be the runtime. RappterBox doesn’t try to also be the discovery surface. Each thing is one thing. The journey is the product.
